Love You Two‘s finale episode emerged as one of the top trending topics on Twitter.
On Friday, September 13, the Kapuso romcom teledrama ended its run after five months on air.
Dubbed as the ‘Kilig Finale’, the Kapuso teledrama made noise on social media particularly Twitter where its hashtag #LYTTheKiligFinale landed on top of Philippine trends.
Its lead star Jennylyn Mercado also took to social media to thank all their fans and supporters. Mercado posted on her Instagram account her thank you message to all those who never left their show until the end.
“It has been a memorable journey for Raffy! Maraming salamat sa lahat ng sumabaybay at sumuporta sa Love You Two! Sabay-sabay po natin panoorin ang final episode mamayang gabi! Mamimiss ko ang napakasayang #loveyoutwo family,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, even though Love You Two‘s finale made waves on social media, it failed to translate into ratings.
Based on the Kantar Media result for September 13, Love You Two bowed to its rival The General’s Daughter.
Love You Two scored a rating of 14.0%, 17.2% lower than The General’s Daughter‘s 31.2% ratings.
AGB Nielsen has yet to released its ratings for September 13, 2019.
