Every day, four celebrity contenders will battle it out and the daily winner will qualify for the finals. Daily winners now include singer-actress Roxanne Barcelo, vocal coach and “The Voice of the Philippines” alumnus Thor Dulay, and “The Voice Kids” grand finalist and “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids” performer Justin Alva.

Like in the normal competition, the celebrity contenders should pay attention to their singing to avoid being “gonged.”

The “Celebrity Champions” edition started on Monday (October 7), with BoybandPH member Niel Murillo, “It’s Showtime” dancer Stephen Robles, former “That’s Entertainment” star Shirley Fuentes, “Mr. Pastillas” Chard Ocampo, “Pinoy Dream Academy” runner-up Jay-R Siaboc, actor-composer Lance Raymundo, actor and viral sensation CJ Navato, singer Geoff Taylor, and actress-cosplayer Myrtle Sarrosa already eliminated.

Watch out for more surprises from “It’s Showtime,” which airs from Mondays to Saturdays on ABS-CBN and ABS-CBN HD (Sky Cable ch 167).
