ABS-CBN has again dominated the nationwide ratings competition.
In the latest numbers from Kantar Media for September 2019, the Kapamilya network topped the ratings game again, besting GMA Network.
ABS-CBN registered a rating of 45%, 14% higher that GMA network’s 31%.
In terms of geographic locations, ABS-CBN continued to dominate the competition winning every survey area.
For Metro Manila, the Kapamilya network scored 41% beating GMA network by 16% at 25%. ABS-CBN also won in Mega Manila 36% against GMA’s 32%. Total Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao also was won by ABS-CBN with 41% vs 34%, 57% vs 24% and 51% vs 28% ratings respectively.
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN also won in all programming blocks in the month of September.
ABS-CBN registered its biggest lead in the noontime block leading GMA network by 19% at 48% vs 29%. The afternoon block also posted a significant lead of 16% at 48% vs 32%. The most coveted primetime block also gave ABS-CBN a good lead at 47% vs 33%. And for the morning block, ABS-CBN scored 37% vs GMA’s 29%.
Kapamilya network’s nationwide win was again led by FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano with 34.9% followed by The Voice Kids with 34.2% and The General’s Daughter with 32.2%.
While ABS-CBN claimed leadership in the nationwide survey, GMA network again boasted of their dominance in Urban Luzon territory.
In the ratings report by AGB Nielsen for September, GMA won Urban Luzon ratings by 1.0% against ABS-CBN at 31.7% vs 30.7% respectively.
The Kapuso network also captured Urban Luzon’s morning and primetime block.
GMA Network registered ratings of 24.9% vs 24.1% in the morning and 34.9% vs 32.3% in primetime.
Aside from Urban Luzon, Kapuso network also scored a win in Mega Manila as it leads ABS-CBN by 3.6% at 31.7% vs 28.1%.
GMA network is led by Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho, Sahaya, 24 Oras, The Gift, and Beautiful Justice in September 2019’s Urban Luzon ratings board.
