Alden Richards’ ‘The Gift’ viewership on the upswing despite ‘The General’s Daughter’ nearing its finale

NUTAM only gets their data from selected urban areas in the Philippines.

GMA Network’s ‘The Gift’ is finally picking up, from having 9.5% rating for its pilot episode, now the newest Kapuso series is enjoying 11-12% in TV ratings.

From having 3.9 points advantage, The General’s Daughter’ now only has 1.9 points gap versus its Kapuso rival show.

Though its really hard to beat ‘The General’s Daughter‘ especially since the show is on its final two weeks, the ratings of ‘The Gift‘ are going steady in the second slot on GMA Telebabad.

In this week’s episodes of ‘The General’s Daughter, Santi’s (Marc Santiago) revelation pushes Tiago (Tirso Cruz III) to proceed with his devious plan. Tiago finally introduces Cinco to Amelia (Janice de Belen).

Meanwhile, Rhian (Angel Locsin) and Franco (Paulo Avelino) stop Amelia from fleeing with Santi. Rhian along with Marcial (Albert Martinez), and Franco invade Tiago’s hideout with the help of the military. Rhian, Marcial and Franco then start to suspect that Gabriela (Mercedes Cabral) is Cinco.
