- Vice Ganda addressed late talent fee issue.
- Vice Ganda said Ethel Booba was already paid of her talent fee.
Kapamilya host-comedian Vice Ganda just laughed off the issue about Gandang Gabi Vice and Minute To Win It‘s late release of talent fees. He said ABS-CBN would not put its name to shame over a small talent fee.
During his interview with Ethel Booba on Tawag Ng Tanghalan Celebrity Champions last October 11, Vice said he already took a video of Ethel holding the pink slip, proof that she was already paid her talent fee.
Ethel meanwhile confirmed that she was already paid her dues.
Vice also shared that he didn’t took Ethel’s tweets seriously because he knew Ethel to be that candid and humorous.
The issue on delayed talent fee was brought to public’s attention when Ethel tweeted about it last September 22.
In a tweet Ethel said she’s getting discouraged from guesting in TV shows because of delayed talent fees.
“Kaya nakakatamad na mag guest sa TV show kasi merong iba dyan mag almost 1 year na di pa ma-claim ang TF sunod meron ding more than 5 months na ata. Sa skype na lang talaga ako magshow C2C. Astig sa astig lang. Charot!” she tweeted.
Being a social media influencer, her Tweet was immediately picked-up by netizens which eventually reached the host of one of the shows that she mentioned Minute to Win It.
In a tweet reply, host Luis Manzano said he will have her issue checked with their production.
“Pa check ko Ethel (I will have it checked, Ethel)!” Luis tweeted.
Meanwhile, although she named two ABS-CBN shows, Ethel also clarified in the twitter thread that she’s not pertaining to the whole network as she also experience same issue with other networks.
Charot!,” Ethel explained.
Ethel is currently one of the contenders of Tawag Ng Tanghalan Celebrity Champions. She already won the daily round and will move on to the next level of the competition.
