- Marian Rivera extended help to Mindanao quake victims.
Kapuso host-actress Marian Rivera-Dantes has joined the list of celebrities who extended help for the victims of the Mindanao earthquake last October 31.
Marian worked quietly in collecting donations for the people of Mindanao. Her efforts were only brought up during the presscon of one of her endorsements, BeauteDerm.
One reporter asked if she had done something for the victims of the earthquake.
Rivera quickly responded that she has already asked some friends for donations to be sent to Mindanao to help the victims with their basic needs.
“Ayy may usapan na kame ni Ate Rhea dyan. At [very] si Ate Rhea talaga nung sinabi ko na kumakalap talaga kame ng mga donations for the na alam mo yun yung mga nangailangan talaga. Ayun by siguro by next week mag-papack na kame, tapos YesPinoy Foundation ang isa sa namumuno talaga para matulungan natin yung mga kababayan natin na nangangailangan.” she said.
YesPinoy Foundation is the foundation headed by Marian’s husband Dingdong Dantes.
Aside from Marian, other stars and celebrities who already extended their help for the Mindanao earthquake victims include Angel Locsin who personally went to Cotabato to deliver her donations through the help of the Philippine Red Cross.
Mindanaoan singer KZ Tandingan also helped by distributing goods and asking help from friends and supporters.
Robin Padilla also did his share by going to Cotabato to also give relief goods to the victims.
Gerald Anderson, Sen. Manny Pacquiao and Jinkee Pacquiao, Derek Ramsay, KC Concepcion, Janine Gutierrez, Solenn Heussaff, and Bianca Gonzalez are some of the other celebrities who are pitching to help.
