In an interview for his upcoming movie Mang Jose with Manilyn Reynes and Janno Gibbs under Viva Films, Mikoy Morales denied that he’s a playboy and wondered where the rumor started.
He said, “Saan nanggaling ‘yon? Wala, wala.”
He also mentioned during the interview that he still goes out with 23-year-old Kapuso Thea Tolentino when they both have spare time every Sunday.
“Oo naman, busy lang siya. Actually it’s a good thing na naging busy kami parehas. Mas nagiging quality time kesa sa few months.”
Furthermore, Mikoy prefers his current set-up with Thea, as it gives them the time to improve their acting skills. He also feels ecstatic whenever they are both busy on individual projects.
“Masaya rin na ganito, na busy kami sa kanya-kanya. Minsan Sundays, kung kelan man pwede. Para sa akin at this point ng buhay namin, parehas kami nandun sa masaya kami na bakaw kami sa career ngayon. So pag nakikita kong ang dami niyang ginagawa, mas fulfilling sa’min ‘yon.”
It can be recalled that when Mikoy had an interview for The Gift, he said he was seeing other women when he had a cool off period with Thea.
He stated: “Tri-ny tri-ny, meron palang kati ko lang pala. May hinahanap lang akong feelings. Pero after nun, hindi.. Hindi ka si Thea e.”
