‘The Gift’ director quashes rumors about Bong Revilla Jr. joining their teleserye

Director LA explained that The Gift has a long arc, and it’s plot-based and it will not change the story instantly whenever a new character will come in, just like the rumor of Bong joining the series.

The Gift’s director LA Madridejos strongly denied the rumor about Senator Bong Revilla’s special guest appearance on the show. He reiterated that any information did not come from the network or from him as the director is definitely not true.

Fans of Alden Richards also got the attention of Director LA by using the hashtag #TheGiftConflict to confirm whether or not Sen. Bong will really join the series as some fans of the show despise the senator which may affect the show’s rating.

Director LA explained that The Gift has a long arc, and it’s plot-based and it will not change the story instantly whenever a new character will come in, just like the rumor of Bong joining the series.

Based on the director’s statement, Alden’s series still has a number of episodes to release but none of need the special guest appearance of the senator.

Considering fans’ concerns on the issue, Alvin praised an OFW, who hates Bong due to the plunder case, for showing love for the country.
