Actor, singer, and songwriter Jace Roque is currently busy promoting his recently released single, “Love.”
“Iʼm focusing on promoting my new single ‘Love’ na available sa iTunes, Spotify and all digital stores and streaming services worldwide,” Jace said in an interview with LionhearTV.
According to Jace, ‘Love’ was released late September under AWAL and the song has already peaked at number 25 on the iTunes Philippines chart.
AWAL is a British distribution company and record label owned by Kobalt Music Group, which is the top independent music publisher in the United Kingdom and the second overall in the United States.
Jace started his career as a singer in 2008, when he was doing mall shows around Metro Manila.
His first stint was with the late Master Showman German Moreno’s Walang Tulugan in 2013, through the help of his uncles: late character actor and stuntman Boy Roque and singer Gino Padilla.
Later on, he was booked for his first acting job for the 2015 ABS-CBN show Inday Bote.
Jace has also appeared in other Kapamilya shows, Ningning and And I Love You So.
In 2017, he played supporting roles in the award-winning movie Across the Crescent Moon, which starred actor Matteo Guidicelli.
After doing the film, Jace said he started going back to making music.
He decided to write, produce, and arrange his own songs.
He has since released six singles on Spotify, all of which were met with success.
His single “Sober,” which he dropped earlier this year, peaked at number 2 on Spotifyʼs OPM Rising and number 19 on Spotifyʼs Philippines Viral 50 chart.
The song, which was released through Ditto Music, has already been streamed over 300,000 times on Spotify.
Ditto Music is a music distribution firm that has also worked with the likes of Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith.
Meanwhile, the lyric video for his single “Love” recently hit more than 140,000 views.
Jace said his fans and supporters can expect him to do more TV and radio guestings “in the near future.”
“My team and I are now planning our next set of events,” the singer said.
