From Illinois, he flew to the Philippines to join the ABS-CBN reality show Pinoy Boyband Superstar in 2016. Luckily, Russell Reyes was one of the winners and became part of BoyBand PH. He is known as one of the crazy and funny guys in the group.
But after a while, he went on temporary leave to continue his scholarship in the U.S. because it would be automatically forfeited if he didn’t.
Reyes still has not returned to his bandmates and has removed his old photos on his Instagram. This has gotten fans worried that he may not be returning.
Fans reached out to him online to let him know that they miss him.

The other members of BoybandPH have not performed on ASAP Natin ‘To since Russell went abroad.
Singer-actor Joao Constancia strongly denied last November that Boyband PH had been disbanded. To end the rumors, Joao stated that they are exploring solo projects in the meantime.
“Right now we are just exploring, solo-solo muna kami. They are giving us the opportunity to explore what we want to do here in showbiz. Solo-solo muna kami. Kung anuman ‘yung gusto naming gawin ‘yon na muna. We are still thinking and we will see na lang what will happen.”
As of this writing, Russell has only three new photos on Instagram, one of which showed a tree with the caption, “New Chapter.”
