JoshLia shared sweet moments on cam amid their viral “awkward” video

Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto shared a sweet conversation during a Magandang Buhay episode

  • Meanwhile, a video circulating on the internet showed the two stars having an awkward moment
  • They were formerly known as the JoshLia love team

Former love team partners Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto displayed sweet moments in an episode of Magandang Buhay last Monday, January 27.

The two Block Z stars were asked about whom they would save in the group from a zombie outbreak.

Joshua answered this by saying he will first save Julia.

“Isi-save ko? I think ikaw (Julia). Not for promo or anything, I think ikaw ‘yung mas kailangan ng tulong,” Joshua explained.

“Closure ba. Closure,” Julia added after the show’s host joked about why Joshua became teary-eyed.

As for Julia, she said that she will also save Joshua mentioning that they were partners since the beginning.

“Ako? Isi-save ko si Josh kasi simula pa lang naman ikaw na ‘yung partner ko, “Julia shared.

Their exchange of words caused the Magandang Buhay hosts and the audience to feel the kilig.

“Ang ganda. Kinilig ako ngayong umaga,”Jolina Magdangal commented.

Despite having this sweet conversation on the show, it seems that Joshua and Julia are not on good terms when the cameras are not rolling.

A video on YouTube went viral after it showed the former lovers ignoring each other in what seemed an awkward situation.

The video, which currently has more than 800,000 views, was shot backstage during a Chinese New Year event.

The two were formerly known as JoshLia, one of ABS-CBN’s prominent love teams. After starring in their last teleserye, Ngayon at Kailanman, the two shocked fans as they announced the disbandment of their love team. However, the two stated that the two will just remain as friends. The couple’s breakup was caused by Julia’s alleged relationship with her Between Maybes co-star Gerald Anderson who would later split from his girlfriend Bea Alonzo.
