In an interview with PUSH, Kiara expressed her gratefulness for having her first acting role.

“Sobrang grateful kasi first ever [ko] po ito. Dati lagi kong sinasabi na gusto ko ma-try na magkaroon ng acting project tapos eto na po finally.

“Pero siyempre nervous talaga at the same time. Tapos yung set first time ko makita, first time ko rin maka-meet ng mga production staff, even si Jane (De Leon) din, and yung [ibang] makakasama ko rin.”

She also felt honored that she got to work with Jane, the newest Darna.

“I’m very happy nga kasi first time ko tapos si Jane yung bagong Darna [pa]. So I feel very honored and happy kasi she’s very nice and nakakausap ko rin siya. Lahat din naman ng mga tao dito welcoming din sila.”

MMK’s episode for this Saturday will tackle the story of World Champion Female Boxer Nesthy Petecio.

Kiara shared her experience training with the female boxer.

“Before sa Japan, pag gusto ko lang maging fit, tina-try ko lang mag Muay Thai. Pero ito talaga yung boxing, first time ko. So nung nag-training kami, it was a fun experience kasi kasama ko rin si Jane mag-training. Tapos kasama rin namin mismo si Nesthy, so masayang experience siya for me,” Kiara said.

The MMK episode which is titled Pangarap at Kamao also stars Mara Lopez, Bembol Roco, and others.

Kiara is half-Filipina half-Japanese former PBB housemate who went by the tagline Singing Surfer ng La Union.
