“Siyempre, mami-miss ko ‘yung set. Ang sigurado sa amin, kahit matapos ‘yung show, babaunin namin ‘yung relationship na nabuo dito. Hindi magtatapos sa teleserye lang,” he said.

Alden was part of the GMA Telebabad series Carmela with actress Marian Rivera which ended after four months, with a total of 83 episodes and Victor Magtanggol (which replaced The Cure) which also ended after four months with a total of 80 episodes. The Gift has with a total of 93 episodes (as of this writing), running for almost 5 months.

After The Gift, Alden will be hosting the newest singing talent competition, Centerstage, where he gets to work with kids.

“Excited ako kasi mahilig ako sa bata first and foremost. And the last hosting show that I did for GMA was ‘Bet ng Bayan’ pa. Batang-bata pa ‘ko no’n. That was five or six years ago.”
