Kyline Alcantara feels nervous over her latest show with fine actors in ‘Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit’ cast

She promises to give her all to avoid disappointing her director.

Award-winning teen star Kyline Alcantara is honored yet nervous at the same time for her upcoming TV series Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit; as she will be working with some of the brightest stars in the local showbiz industry such as Nora Aunor, Mylene Dizon, Ina Feleo, Divina Valencia, Gabby Eigenmann, Zoren Legazpi, and Isabel Rivas.

In an interview, she said (pertaining to the veteran actors and actresses she will be working within the series), “Mas kinakabahan po ako ngayon. Kung dinaga po ‘yung dibdib ko nu’ng first meeting namin sa storycon, higit po ngayon.”

Despite the goosy feeling, she admitted that she’s more thrilled because she’s given the chance to be work with some of the established actors in showbiz.

“Kabado pa rin pero mas nai-excite po ako. Tulad ng madalas ko pong banggitin, karangalan ko pong makatrabaho ang mga beteranang aktres ng industriya.

“Excited na rin po akong makatrabaho si Direk Laurice. Alam ko pong marami rin akong matutunan sa kanya.

“Pagbubutihan ko po dahil takot po akong masigawan at mapagalitan sa set.”

The 17-year old actress will appear in the remake series as Magnolia ‘Maggie’ De la Cruz on the series’ second week of airing.

Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit is also the biggest TV break for Kapuso actor Yasser Marta as the leading man of Alcantara.

He said, “Biggest break ko po kaya sobra akong nagpapasalamat sa GMA sa tiwala na ibinigay nila sa akin at promise po, gagalingan ko rin po.”

The taping for the TV adaptation of the 1989 hit film Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit has already started last December 2019. It will be on its full swing as soon as it starts its pilot episode on February 24. It will replace Madrasta in the Afternoon Prime lineup of GMA.
