Maine Mendoza had a guest appearance on GMA’s All Out Sundays last February 2, 2020, and some members of the audience were able to capture moments of Maine bonding with Julie Anne San Jose.
The photos and a video simply depicted that everything between these Kapuso stars was going smoothly, despite AlDub fans continuing to bash Julie.
Photos shown Julie assisting Maine towards the backstage, and it can also be seen in the video that Julie welcomed Maine to sit beside her.
In addition to that, Maine and Julie started to follow each other on Instagram.

It can be recalled in 2015, Julie’s family started to received criticisms from AlDub fans when she reconciled with Alden Richards and she was hesitant to provide a statement as it could be used against her.
She said: “I will not give any comments because they are using my statement against me, they even involved my family which is way beyond their control. I have nothing else to do whatever they may think for as long as I know the truth. I am just doing my job, following the lead from the director and my boss.”

In the same year, Maine sincerely apologized to Julie for all the bashing brought on by the AlDub fans. Even Ai-Ai Delas Alas was also a victim of AlDub’s bashing when she uploaded a video of Julie and Alden. Fans assumed that Ai-Ai was trying to link the two young stars romantically.
To stop the allegations, Ai-ai affirmed that Julie has completely moved on.
