Robin Padilla: “Si God ang nagpapakain sa amin and we cannot bite the hand of God”

He defended Bato against DJ Chacha who suggested that the senator resign for being loyal to the president rather than the country.

Robin Padilla has once again shown his full support for President Rodrigo Duterte against the ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal.

The “Bad Boy” of the Philippines mentioned that the giant network should admit the black propaganda it has committed last Election 2016.

Robin also commended Risa Hontiveros for stating that ABS-CBN should be a pro-worker franchise.

The bible of Philippine Politics.”

Hontiveros urged the giant network to implement changes to benefit workers, not just for when they are applying for a franchise renewal.

The bible of Philippine Politics. Senator Risa Hontiveros on Monday obliged ABS-CBN to put the welfare of its employees as top priority by regularizing their contractual employees. We need a pro-worker franchise,” she said during the Senate Committee on Public Services hearing on the alleged violations of the media giant on its franchise. Hontiveros compelled the network for its commitment to improve its labor practices, settle contractualization issues, and provide job security to its workers, once the franchise is renewed.

Robin also praised Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, considering the senator as the one true war hero.

He defended Bato against DJ Chacha who suggested that the senator resign for being loyal to the president rather than the country.

“Hindi naman manipis ang mga yan pero wag naman for the sake of their service wag natin po kalimutan ang mga kabayanihan ng mga taong ito literally they made the Pilipino spirit live in the hearts of our countrymen especially to our soldiers and policemen who are on call in giving their life and sacrificing their most precious families. The Man is the meaning of duty to the country and loyalty to the Flag whatever he is accused now and presently undergoing sanction from a foreign government we should be on his side how can we talk about freedom when senators from another country are exerting their sovereignty on us.”

The Philippine Constitution does not allow foreigners to own media companies in the Philippines, which is why during the Senate hearing last Monday, February 24, 2020, Senator Dela Rosa asked ABS-CBN’s Carlo Katigbak if  Chairman Emeritus Gabby Lopez is a US citizen.

To address the issue raised by Dela Rosa, Katigbak confirmed that Gabby holds a Philippine passport.

Katigbak: “Gabby Lopez is a Filipino citizen. Tatay niya po is a Filipino at may hawak din po siyang Philippine passport.”
