The “Genie-Nga” of Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime, or Christine Krisha Samson, admitted she has never had a boyfriend.
Christine disclosed her “no boyfriend since birth” status in an interview on Tonight With Boy Abunda show on Monday.
“Hindi naman po dahil sa super strict ang parents, pero parang choice ko lang din po,” she told the show’s host, Boy Abunda.
When she was asked if it was true that It’s Showtime host Jhong Hilario was courting her, Christine denied the rumors.
“Wala po talaga… Trip lang po ni Meme Vice na tukso-tuksohin (kami),” she said.
Christine also revealed that her showbiz crushes are actors Jericho Rosales and JM De Guzman.
“Naaalala ko kahit noong bata pa ko, sila na talaga,” she said.
Christine’s very first appearance on It’s Showtime was last January 6.
This episode, featuring her as “Genie-nga” or “ang babaeng laging pasok sa banga at may mahiwagang hininga,” quickly trended online.
“Genie-nga” is the gorgeous genie, who holds the charot cards that dictate the fate of the contestants on the “PiLing Lucky” segment.
Before she became the popular “Genie-nga,” Christine said she worked as a commercial model and an event emcee.
She has appeared in the ads of a telecom firm, a popular snack, a beauty brand, and a beverage company.
But more than just beauty and grace, Christine graduated from the Bulacan State University with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting last year.
Sabay kong tinupad ang pangarap ng magulang ko para saakin at ang pangarap ko para sa sarili ko.👩🏼🎓
