After Ogie Diaz defended Kim Chiu on Jay Sonza’s “drawing” comment, more celebrities have came to the Love Thy Woman actress’s defense and said she does not need to “stage” the traumatic experience just to be the talk of the town.
The first one to react was Sunshine Cruz who plays Kim’s mom on Love Thy Woman.
She said: “Dahil walang natamaan at walang namatay drawing agad?”
In addition to that, Sunshine also reiterated that Kim is one of the nicest people she knows in the entertainment industry and hopes that these two gunmen responsible for the shooting incident will get the punishment they deserve.
Kim Chiu is one of the nicest celebrities I’ve worked with. Napakabait! Napakadali na talaga para sa mga masasamang tao ang manakit sa kapwa. Thank you Lord for protecting my anak(Kim/Jia). Sana ay mahuli ang mga walang pusong gumawa nito sa kanya…

Meanwhile, Director Jerry Lopez Sineneng stressed that what happened to Kim is not a gimmick, not a publicity stunt, is unscripted, and most of all, it was not “drawing.”

On the same thread, Angel Locsin commented, “Nakakaloka.”
Sheree even questioned Jay’s logic in thinking Kim needs to put her life on the line as well as that of driver’s and her personal assistant’s just for publicity.
Sheree emphasized: “I agree! Why would @chinitaprincess risk her life for a publicity stunt. she doesn’t need that. The important thing is she is ok now. May you always be blessed and protected kim.”
David Chua who plays the role of Kim’s uncle in Love Thy Woman said Jay should experience being ambushed to know what it feels like to be in a tragic situation then be called it as either “drawing” or “staged”.
