Former Pinoy Big Brother: All in housemate and now ex- Kapamilya star Axel Torres admitted that he was stubborn which almost cost his acting career. Axel was part of Youtopia and La Luna Sangre in 2017.
“Nasa Star Magic po ako for five years, okay naman po and still nasa ABS-CBN and nag-inquire naman sila sa akin for Make It With You as chef with Liza (Soberano).
“Pero hindi ko tinanggap kasi baka magkaroon ng conflict sa new project ko sa TV5 and by March, magte-taping na kami for teleserye, My Extraordinary.”
Axel was asked directly if he was disappointed with ABS-CBN because he didn’t have regular shows.
The ex-Kapamilya revealed that it was his own doing and ABS-CBN has nothing to do with it.
“Hindi naman po ako nadismaya at hindi ako puwedeng madismaya kasi hindi naman sila nagkulang, ako po ‘yung may pagkukulang. Naging pasaway ako talaga noon,” the actor admitted.
Torres just signed with Asterisk Artist Management. He did not deny that he wants to have a lot of projects for his son because he doesn’t have a regular job as of now.

“Kaya po ako nagpa-manage sa baguhan kasi nu’ng pumirma po ako ng kontrata, may specific project na gagawin unlike sa ABS wala po silang sinabi.”
Back then, Torres and Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda were linked to each other, with the latter rumored to be his ‘backer’ in show business. Axel also clarified this issue.
“Hindi, eh. Kasi for her, parang you have to work your way talaga, eh. Parang kailangan sarili mong kayod. I don’t want to parang… be involved sa anumang meron ka ngayon.”
“At least, kung anong meron ako ngayon is because of me and pinaghirapan ko.”
Torres admits that he is very happy with Vice Ganda’s relationship with Ion Perez.
“Ay hindi, super happy nga ako for them, hindi mo hinanap pero dumating so sobrang happy ako para sa kanya.”
He will be one of the lead stars in the upcoming TV series, A Kiss To Remember and Boys Next Door on TV5. He will also try hosting an online digital travel vlog show, The Amazing Adventures, on Asterisk Digital TV YouTube channel.
