‘The bullet is not for me.’ Kim Chiu answers netizen questioning her reaction to the shooting incident

“If im abushed ill be inactive for quite sometime. Mga aksidente suntukan ok lng move on move on aga pero pag ambush? iba tama nun if legit ambush.”

A week after the shooting incident, Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu took the time to update her fans on her social media accounts.

On her Instagram, a basher with the username @flytoot3 questioned the actress’ reaction after the attack and insinuated that the ambush might have been staged.

“If im abushed ill be inactive for quite sometime. Mga aksidente suntukan ok lng move on move on aga pero pag ambush? iba tama nun if legit ambush.”

The netizen even cautioned the actress from posting on social media since that may be the way the criminals were keeping track of her.

Lami oi.”

Kim just replied, “@flytoot3 its because I’m not scared. The bullet is not for me. I’m happy I’m alive and that’s more important than waste your time being an ‘investigator’ keme.”

Even retired broadcast journalist Jay Sonza made an insensitive comment about the attack on Kim. He claimed that the incident was just a ‘drawing’ or a mere hoax.

Celebrities came to the defense of Love Thy Woman actress and said she doesn’t need to “stage” the traumatic experience just to be talked about.

Sunshine Cruz, who plays Kim’s mom on Love Thy Woman, was the first to react. On her Instagram account, Cruz posted a story:

Even Director Jerry Lopez Sineng pointed out that what happened to Kim is not a gimmick, not a publicity stunt and most of all, it was not “drawing.”

Instead of taking responsibility for criticizing the actress, the retired broadcast journalist posted a Facebook post in a very passive way.

“Para doon sa mga naghangad at nagdasal na mamatay na sana ako via twitter kagabi, here is my message to you: Sige mauna na po muna kayo. busy pa kasi po ako. siguro pag naubos na kayo, maaring pag-iisipan ko susunod ako,”

He then signed off by thanking the people who criticized him.
