Angeline Quinto defended stars who helped and donated to COVID-19 frontliners in this time of crisis.
On her Twitter account, Angeline said she was wondering why there are still bashers despite the stars’ willingness to help for those who are in need.
“Bakit yung iba, makita lang ang ibang artista may post na tumutulong, galit na galit pa. Bakit kailangan pa raw ipakita.”
Angeline believes that the stars who have helped out are not only doing it for show.
“Hindi po yun sa gusto lang nilang ipakita, ginagawa nila yun dahil alam na alam nila ang pakiramdam. Nung sila ang nangangailangan. Wag naman ho husgahan.”

Recently, comedienne Pokwang reacted to netizens’ comments that she is insincere about her recent efforts to contribute and help frontliners and Filipinos who are affected by the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine.
Pokwang took to her social media accounts to call out bashers and instead ask them to redirect their energy to help their countrymen.
“READ THIS MGA ANIMAL!!!! NAIIYAK AKO SA GALIT SA INYO!!! SA GANITO PA TALAGANG PANAHON??? HAA??? SA GANITONG PANAHON MGA KAMPON NG BASHERS NA SATANAS???? NGAYON PA TALAGA??? HINDI ITO ANG TAMANG ORAS!!!”

Pokwang repacked goods and donated them to the poor families and even prepared food for the police officers who were at the quarantine checkpoints.
