- The singer said he wanted to try new things in life
‘Prince of Pop’ Erik Santos shared his realizations in life as he spent his time at home in compliance with the enhanced community quarantine in the country.
Due to the crisis and the coronavirus disease outbreak in the country, the multi-awarded singer said he learned to cease loving material things.
Erik then added that he realized the importance of his relationship with family and friends instead. He is now planning to invest more of his time for travel and experiences in the future.
“Ang isa sa reflection ko dahil sa lockdown na ito ay i-cherish mo ‘yung relationship with your friends, relationship with your family. And mas experienced ako now, mas gusto kong mag-invest sa magagandang experiences. After nito mas gugustuhin ko ang mag-travel kaysa bumili ng mga bagay na alam mong panandalian lang at hindi ganoon kapermanente,” the singer said.
After this outbreak, the singer said he wanted try new things in life and offer more songs for his fans.
Life is short so gawin mo na ang gusto mong gawin.
Erik rose to fame in the music scene when he was hailed as the first Grand Champion of the ABS-CBN singing competition Star in a Million Season 1 in 2003.
His platinum debut album and succeeding albums, sold-out concerts and a demand for corporate shows, accolades and commercials gave him much popularity as a singer. Despite his success and popularity, Erik did not show much growth as a singer.
