Julia Barretto reveals helping a fundraiser for quarantine facilities

“Naisip ko, I should call out my sisters, mag sanib pwersa kaming tatlo to raise funds to be able to have one facility built, nakapag-collaborate kami with the people na nagpapatayo ng facility.”

In an interview with ABS-CBN’s Magandang Buhay, Julia Barretto revealed that she’s helping with a fundraiser to build quarantine facilities.

As per Julia, joining the fundraiser is just one of the projects she and her sisters are doing during this trying time due to COVID-19.

Julia stated that she has been helping fellow Filipinos privately along with her sister Dani Barretto.

“I think it started when, ako kasi and my sisters nagdo-donate kami sa mga iba’t-ibang fundraisers, pero always privately. Hindi namin masyado shine-share, so parang we help in private and then may isa akong tinulungan na isang fundraiser. I wanted to look deeper into it, so inaral ko siya tas nakita ko that they are partnered up with this team who builds facilities.”

“Naisip ko, I should call out my sisters, mag sanib pwersa kaming tatlo to raise funds to be able to have one facility built, nakapag-collaborate kami with the people na nagpapatayo ng facility.”

The fundraiser to build quarantine facilities was rumored to have spearheaded by A Soldier’s Heart actor Gerald Anderson which led the netizens to speculate that these two celebrities might still be in a romantic relationship.

It can be recalled that Gerald expressed his gratitude to Arci Munoz, Sue Ramirez, Rayver Cruz, and Jake Cuenca for their donations to the project.
