On the second feature of Kapuso Movie Festival, witness an action-packed story in ‘The Magnificent Seven.’ The film follows the fate of seven gunmen who each came from a variety of backgrounds and brought together by a vengeful young widow to protect her town from the private army of a destructive industrialist. Meanwhile, GMA Blockbusters is set to bring a horrifying tale in ‘Patient X,’ which stars Richard Gutierrez, Cristine Reyes, and TJ Trinidad. The plot revolves around these three characters all caught up in a web of lies and deceit by a traumatic past. Cap off the day with another classic film from Hongkong entitled ‘Carry on Wise Guy’ on Sunday Night Box Office. Gordon Liu portrays a Buddhist monk who abandons his post at a Buddhist temple when the temple is attacked by Japanese troops during World War II. After he leaves the temple, he takes on two misfit apprentices and together battle the enemies.
