Kapamilya star Angel Locsin is being attacked by bashers just for giving her opinion about the government.
On Instagram, Angel posted an old photo of women protesting to be given the right to vote. She captioned it: “Not a terrorist. http://chng.it/WRjRGHyj4d #junkterrorbill”

A basher immediately commented on her post and tagged her as a terrorist.
@helenoftroy28: “Ikaw ang tunay na terorista hindi mo na intindihan kung ano ang terror bill total supporter ka naman ng npa doon ka sa syria or iraq nakatira kasi noon doon ang mga kalahi mo.”
The basher claimed that Angel Locsin doesn’t understand the true meaning and purpose of the Anti Terror Bill.
Congress recently passed an anti-terrorism law also known as the Anti Terrorism Bill that will remove essential legal guarantees and allow the government to circumvent organizations and individuals deemed terrorists.
If passed, the bill would essentially repeal the Human Security Act of 2007 and replace it with stricter legislation.
“It introduced provisions imposing life imprisonment without parole on those who will participate in the planning, training, preparation, and facilitation of a terrorist act; possess objects connected with the preparation for the commission of terrorism; or collect or make documents connected with the preparation of terrorism.”
As of now, the House of Representatives approved the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020 on its third reading. Under the bill, anyone who threatens to commit terrorism may be jailed for up to 12 years, while those who propose terrorist acts or incite others to commit terrorism may be jailed for the same term.
“Any person who shall voluntarily and knowingly join any organization, association, or group of persons knowing that such is a terrorist organization, shall suffer imprisonment of 12 years and those who will recruit another to join, commit, or support any terrorist organization will be punished with a penalty of life imprisonment without the benefit of parole,” the bill states.
This new Anti-terrorism act endangers rights, leading critics to stage protests against the bill.
At least seven student protesters who held a rally with dozens of other locals against the controversial anti-terrorism bill were arrested when Cebu police officers stormed the University of the Philippines forcefully, violating existing procedures.
