Sarsi Emmanuelle and Janet Bordon reveal Pepsi Paloma’s personality

Sarsi Emmanuelle and Janet Bordon shared something about Pepsi Paloma

  • Last May 31 marked the 35th death anniversary of Pepsi

Sarsi Emmanuelle and Janet Bordon shared some details about Pepsi Paloma on the occasion of her 35th death anniversary.

The sexy actress died on May 31, 1985 at the age of 18 after hanging herself. Her mysterious death involved the names of Joey De Leon, Vic Sotto, and Richie D’Horsie who had sexually assaulted her.

Sarsi is Pepsi’s fellow Softdrink Beauty. She also worked with her in the movies Snake Sisters (1984), Naked Island (1984), Matukso Kaya ang Anghel (1984), and Room 69 (1985).

Sarsi said she was acquainted with the actress but she had no idea about her personal life.

“I only knew a few [things] about Pepsi,” Sarsi shared in an interview with PEP.

“Ahead siya sa akin. Almost three years na si Pepsi sa showbiz when I came in.

“And in our shoot, just hi and goodbye lang kami. Not really close.

“Anything about her personal life, wala akong alam.

“We just simply knew each other. Ganoon lang,” answered Sarsi.

For her part, Janet worked with Pepsi in the movie Virgin People along with Myrna Castillo and Ernie Garcia. She took on the role of Pepsi’s younger sister.

According to her memory, they often see her away from the set alone or sleeping in a grassy area with no one around while shooting the film.

“Madalas, bagong gising siya kapag nagte-take kami. Hindi siya palakain. Kapag inaalok ko siya ng pagkain ko, sasabihin lang niya, ‘No, salamat,’” she shared.

But Janet mentioned that she admired a certain characteristic of her former co-star.

Janet concluded that Pepsi was a shy and a quiet type of girl. She also said that hey never had a chance to talk that much while working.

Janet was in United States when she heard about Pepsi’s death. She also believes that Pepsi took her own life because of her unspoken troubles.

Janet said, “Parang feeling ko, dahil sa problema niya kaya siya namatay, hindi dahil sa sakit o ano pa man.”
