Francine Prieto aired her disappointment over President Rodrigo Duterte’s fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday. Many Filipinos were also disatisfied with his speech which lasted for 1 hour 40 minutes and 45 seconds as he did not accordingly discuss the government’s plans to contain COVID-19.
The Norwegian-Filipino celebrity vented her disappointment on Twitter, cursing and crying over the president’s speech.
“Yun na yun?!? Nakakaiyak. Tengene (crying emoji)” she wrote.

The country is currently battling COVID-19 which continues to infect an increasing number of Filipinos. Aside from this, the Philippines and China have contesting territorial claims in the South China Sea which the latter largely claims as its own. But in the midst of this,the country still has strong ties with China.
Recently, thousands of Filipinos were also left jobless and devastated after the government’s shutdown of the largest media network in the country, ABS-CBN.
