Lauren Young continues to use her social media platforms to express her support for ABS-CBN renewal franchise, despite being a Kapuso artist.
The former Kapamilya artist tweeted her support on her Twitter account, showing she won’t forget where she came from.
“You should never forget where you come from. I owe my career to ABS-CBN for giving me a chance and training me.”
She also mentioned that what she learned from ABS-CBN has helped her in her career in GMA network as an actress and she will always be grateful for her former network, “Everything I learned there I was able to bring and apply to my work in GMA. I’ll always be grateful to them. #IbalikAngABSCBN #LabanKapamilya”

Glancing at her Twitter feed, she also posted a pub mat which includes a viral artcard saying she is not one of the 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN but would want the network to continue to serve, she posted it with the #LabanKapamilya #IbalikAngABSCBN,

On June 10 (Friday), ABS-CBN’s bid to renew their franchise was rejected by the House of Representatives Committee on Legislative Franchises after 13 hearings.

Young, who is now with GMA Network, said that it was the Kapamilya network that invested and trained her into the actress that she is today and opened the door to so many opportunities.
For these reasons, Young said she would be forever grateful to ABS-CBN.
Lauren Young was part of Star Magic Batch 13—the roster of talents from the talent management arm of ABS-CBN—launched in 2006. She starred in the remake of the prime-time series Mula Sa Puso, with JM de Guzman and Enrique Gil, in 2011, then she moved to GMA-7 in late 2012.
