Kapamilya actress and philanthropist Angel Locsin does not wish ill of anyone who is COVID-positive, even someone who has often bashed her over her socio-political stand.
In a tweet sharing her Instagram story, Angel said she has been receiving messages about a certain vlogger who happens to be one of her staunchest critics who has tested positive for COVID-19.
However, instead of speaking ill of the vlogger, Angel wished the person to get well soon because according to her no one deserves to have COVID-19.
“I’ve been receiving messages about a vlogger who’s been habitually criticizing me and is now positive of Covid. Let’s not wish ill of him. Nobody deserves Covid. Hope you get well soon”

Angel was apparently talking about Mocha Uson’s manager and one of the Diehard Duterete Supporters and propagandist Banat By (real name Byron Cristobal).
On Tuesday, August 18, Banay By announced that he tested positive for COVID-19.
In a Facebook post, Banat By said he started feeling unwell during his birthday on August 6. After feeling weak for quite someday he decided to take swab test on August 16, and the result came back positive on Monday, August 17.
“Since Aug 6, my birthday, I was not feeling well. I rested and took my usual medicine for my asthma. After 3 days I was well I thought everything is ok pero hindi pala. When I tried to be strong and in control the more I become weak. I realized God has something for me. Ironically birthday ko pa. Sabi ko nga sa sarili what a birthday gift from you Lord if this is Covid. Then last Aug 16 when I finally decided to have a swab test at kinabukasan (which is yesterday)nakuha ko na resulta ko- I WAS POSITIVE of Covid.”
