Netizens have found another reason to slam Jimmy Bondoc for his totally ‘sipsip’ attitude towards President Rodrigo Duterte and his administration.
In a video invite, Bondoc called on music artists in the country particularly his fellow die-hard Duterte supporters to come together and sing for the president in an online tribute concert titled “Singing for the President Online Concert” which will happen on August 30, 2 PM onwards.
Meanwhile, several netizens took to Twitter to blast Bondoc over his online concert aimed at serenading Duterte for being allegedly overworked for the country.
Twitter user @faggyg, scored Bondoc’s sincerity in the video saying “the sincerity in his voice irritates the shit outta me jimmy bondoc TANGA”

Spoken-word artist and social media personality Juan Miguel Severo meanwhile sarcastically defended Bondoc from critics.
In his tweet, Severo said people shouldn’t cancel Bondoc because cancel culture is only for those who have careers.
“Di ko gets. Di ba cancellations are for upcoming and ongoing careers? Bakit n’yo pa ika-cancel si Jimmy Bondoc? Maawa naman kayó sa tao.”

Award-winning writer Ogie Rosa, on the other hand, twitted Bondoc for calling the artists as volunteers when in fact all of the guests he mentioned all had appointive positions in government.
“Organized daw ito by Volunteer Artists for Duterte? Volunteer ba talaga? By simply googling, these artists have been appointed in different agencies: Bondoc (PAGCOR), Arnell/Mocha (OWWA), Paolo Santos/Thor/Njel/Moymoy (MTRCB). Baka naman po Volunteer To Be Appointed?”
