Pokwang fires back at a netizen claiming her new show has the same concept as ‘Magandang Buhay’

Pokwang defends her new television program at the Kapatid network.

On August 17, during the premiere of TV5’s newest morning talk show titled Chika, Besh, one of the hosts Pokwang took to her Instagram to promote the first episode.

She posted, “Chika na tayo mga Besh ngayong 10am na….excited na kaming makasama kayo tuwing lunes hanggang biernes 10am @chikabeshtv5 #CHIKABESH sa @tv5manila.”

However, a netizen criticized the program and claimed it had the same concept as ABS-CBN’s talk show Magandang Buhay.

“Pareho lang ng magandang buhay ang concept,” the netizen commented.

Pokwang went on the defensive and quickly took a swipe at the netizen and said that there were a lot of other talk shows which also bear a similar concept.

She said, “Actually marami yan ganyang style isa isahin natin po ha, Sis with jelly de belen, Janice at Carmina, Mars with Camille prats, iya villania, Suzie Entrata, kris and korina, meron pa marami payan day! morning girls zsa zsa padilla, kris and carmina villaroel, so saan at sino nagsimula?”

“Baka po may idea kayo na mai-share limahin naman ang hosts hindi tatlo lang gawin nating lima yung na upuan ang guest,” she added.

TV5’s new morning talk-magazine show Chika, Besh! is hosted by Pokwang, Ria Atayde, and Pauleen Luna. The program was tagged as “Basta Everyday Super Happy” as it aimed to share good vibes to its audience especially in these trying times.

The hosts also agreed that the show is valuable since programs like this can help uplift the spirits of people through inspirational stories which can give them hope and positivity.

It does somehow presents a similar vibe with Magandang Buhay which has been spreading the same vision of happiness and valuable lessons to its viewers for two years already.

But despite the similarities, the shows still have their own unique way of delivering life inspirational stories to their audiences.
