At the press conference for the new Kapamilya Teleserye, Bagong Umaga, actress Barbie Imperial revealed how her gastropub Tipsy Pig survived amidst the locked downs and pandemic.
Firstly, she noted how her business boomed before the pandemic because of businesses like ABS-CBN along Morato, Quezon City area.
So before mabenta po siya dahil yung ABS nanjan ang daming mga kumpanya na nanjan so maraming umiinom dun maraming kumakain,” said Barbie.
Then, during the pandemic, she said that they almost thought of closing the gastropub but resorted to continuing the business by having their meals delivered.
Now, Barbie says is glad because her business can resume operations with the easing of quarantine guidelines. She also pointed out how local businesses are slowly rebuilding amidst the pandemic.
“And ngayon, lahat ng branch ng Tipsy Pig bukas and pwede na rin magdine in and uminom. So nakakatuwa po na kahit paunti-unti bumabangon po yung mga business ng mga tao,” said Barbie.
