Since October 10, some of the ABS-CBN movies and shows have been back on free TV through the rebranded A2Z channel formerly known as Zoe TV.
This happened because of the block time agreement between the Lopezes and the founder of Zoe TV, Bro. Eddie Villanueva.
As ASAP Natin ‘to aired live on free TV after several months, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and Ogie Alcasid sent their message of gratitude to Bro. Eddie for allowing Kapamilya shows to air on his network.
Through a Facebook Live, the couple expressed how happy they were as ASAP returned on air last October 18 through A2Z Channel 11.
“We had a great show. It felt like ‘yung mga out of the country natin, it felt like that. I was nervous and excited,” Regine said.
“I just want to say thank you to Bro. Eddie for allowing us to be on Channel 11 A2Z. Hindi niyo po alam kung gaano kami kasaya lahat. It was my first time to see Tita Cory (Vidanes) smiling again. I haven’t seen her [smile in a long time],” she said.
Bro. Eddie acknowledged this message of the Alcasids and in reply said that they must glorify the Lord who is the real owner of the network.
“Please tell Sis. Regine and Bro. Alcasid, just thank the LORD who is the real owner of A2Z Channel 11 and who loves all human beings that’s why HE demonstrated HIS LOVE for all of us that when we’re still sinners CHRIST JESUS died for us!” Bro. Eddie said through Heidy Landrito, who works at Jesus Is Lord Church Worldwide.
“Mabuhay kayong lahat na nagbibigay ng saya at galak sa mga mamamayang Pilipino!! God bless you more and God bless the Philippines,” he added.
To recall, Congress rejected the bid of ABS-CBN for a fresh 25-year franchise. ABS-CBN was forced to shut down its free TV broadcast and lay-off most of its employees.
ABS-CBN also utilized the digital platforms amidst the shutdown of their TV channel. And now that they have closed a deal with A2Z, they are finally back on free TV.
The network continues to conquer the digital platforms and their programs can be seen on YouTube, Facebook, TFC, and Kapamilya Channel.
