Producer Dreamscape Entertainment announced on Monday that Kim Chiu is set to star in a series inspired by her Bawal Lumabas meme.
In the midst of pandemic and community quarantine, Kim’s statement in an online rally to defend ABS-CBN went viral and generated the Bawal Lumabas meme.
The actress was ridiculed and heavily criticized online following her confusing statement.
This unpleasant situation later turned into a golden opportunity for her as her analogy became an actual music hit and inspired a line of limited edition merchandise which Kim used to raise money for charity.
The upcoming series will be her latest achievement after suffering from “one of the lowest points” of Kim’s life as a result of her viral video.
“Ang buhay ay parang isang malaking classroom, where every mistake is a lesson learned,” the teaser said, indicating a December debut.
