After several days of social media absence, veteran broadcaster and known Fake News King Jay Sonza is at it again.
In his latest Facebook post, Sonza took a swipe in the upcoming partnership between ABS-CBN and ZOE TV.
In the post, Sonza sarcastically greeted ABS-CBN for its fifth month of being shut down.
“Kapamilya, today is our 5th Month-Sara.”
He then added the apparent partnership between ABS-CBN and ZOE TV which will give way for ABS-CBN to made a free TV comeback. But in his post, Sonza didn’t mince words in saying that with the weak signal of ZOE TV, ABS-CBN might illegally use their transmitters to boost their programming.
“Kung walang lalabagin sa prangkisa ng Kongreso at malalabag sa NTC-DICT ang Zoe Broadcasting (Light Network) nina Sen. Tesda Villanueva at Civac Partylist Rep. Eddie Villanueva….
However, eagle-eyed netizens noticed how Sonza edited the post several times, seemingly more cautious and afraid now to avoid getting backlash again.

In his original post, Sonza said Zoe TV has no digital transmitter yet, insinuating that ABS-CBN might illegally use their transmitter to broadcast their programs.
“Kung walang lalabagin sa prangkisa ng Kongreso at malalabag sa NTC-DICT ang Zoe Broadcasting nina Sen. Villanueva, malamang-lamang magkikita-kita tayo sa analog Channel 11 VHF (wala pang digital transmitter kasi ang Zoe, maluban na lang kung we will illegally use the abs cbn transmitter & satellite uplink & downlink equipment) operating at 1,000-5,000 watts only.”
But maybe after seeing his post might again backfire on him, he edited it several times to say that ZOE TV has indeed had a digital transmitter but it’s not that strong compared to the ABS-CBN transmitter, maintaining his insinuation that ABS-CBN might illegally use their transmitters to boost their program transmission.
ABS-CBN and ZOE TV have been reported several times to have been working in a block time agreement.
News reports from several online media said TV Patrol and FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano will soon be back on free TV via ZOE TV 11. It’s Showtime and ASAP Natin To were also tagged as the Kapamilya shows who are sure to be back on free TV though ZOE Channel 11.
And as of the latest reports, ABS-CBN on Tuesday, October 6, has confirmed the partnership between ZOE Broadcasting Network and will start showing Kapamilya shows on Saturday, October 10.
Jay Sonza meanwhile, is known for spreading fake news online, earning him the monicker Fake News King.
The most recent fake news that got him silenced for several days was the alleged pregnancy of Julia Barretto.
In his Facebook post, Sonza joyfully announced that Julia is now pregnant with Gerald Anderson’s baby maliciously insinuating that the two had sex escapades during the ECQ which he names “ESQ (Exact Sex Quadrant)”.
Julia however, immediately debunked the fake news via an Instagram post.

Julia also went to the NBI to file charges against Sonza.
“I am pursuing this case because the statements made by Mr. Sonza are untrue and irresponsible. The widespread reposting of the news based on his post caused distress to me and my family. I don’t want to take this matter lightly. Mr. Sonza, and all those who publish these reckless and baseless posts, must be held accountable for their actions so that they think twice before claiming things as fact,” said Julia.
“Ang dami ko na kasing pinagdaaan, ang dami ko nang pinalampas lalo na sa social media, binastos na ang reputation ko, ang pangalan ko. You know, I think I just want to show people na hindi ko na pinapalampas ‘yung mga bagay na ganito,” she added.
