Kapamilya star Vice Ganda joked about Billy Crawford being the winner in one of It’s Showtime‘s’ segments called “Name It to Win It” on Monday, October 19.
While Vice was searching for a winner on Twitter with the use of the correct hashtag for the show, he jokingly called Billy’s Twitter username.
The hashtag of the day of ‘It’s Showtime’ was #SolidShowtimerAko that’s why when Vice was scrolling through the social networking site, he called out Billy’s username which made his co-hosts laugh.
“Ayan, o! @billycrawford,” announced Vice.
Billy is now a part of a noontime show on TV5 called ‘Lunch Out Loud’ which also premiered on October 19. Billy was also a host on It’s Showtime but he transferred to the show’s rival noontime show on the Kapatid network.
People speculated that Vice Ganda was being sarcastic in calling out Billy as the winner on Twitter with the hashtag #SolidShowtimerAko. They felt that the comedian-host wanted to point out that Billy betrayed his Showtime Family by transferring to ‘It’s Showtime’s’ rival noontime show in TV5.
Meanwhile, Kim Chiu, Vice’s co-host in ‘It’s Showtime’, jokingly reprimanded him saying that one of their bosses was watching the show.
“Andiyan si Tita Cory,” Kim said.
Vice laughed along with his co-host and quickly took back what he said saying, “Andiyan pala si Tita Cory.”
In another segment of the TV show, Vice also called out Johnny ‘Mr. M’ Manahan when the comedian was guessing the identity of a masked singer in the segment, “Hide and Sing.”
Vice pointed out the details of the masked singer’s identity and connected it to Mr. M saying, “Nag-a-ASAP ‘to. Malaking lalaki, nag-a-ASAP ito, Mr. M.”
Mr. M was one of the directors of ASAP until he recently transferred to the Kapatid network to direct ‘Sunday Noontime Live’ (SNL) which was also the rival show of ABS-CBN’s ASAP.
However, in a previous Tweet, Vice Ganda mentioned that he is happy with the achievements of all the Kapamilya artists, even those who already transferred to other networks.
