After the announcement of the new President of the United States of America, ardent Duterte administration critic and musician Jim Paredes humorously likened newly elected USA president Joe Biden to Filipino comedian Redford White.

On the Twitter account of Paredes, the singer-musician posted a photo of the late comedian White on an image by GMA News Public Affairs.

A lot of netizens found this funny that even fellow Duterte critic and actress Agot Isidro commented on the said photo and said that she misses the comedian Redford White, “I miss Redford”

Paredes’s jokes about US Elections included a meme of Former Philippine President Joseph Estrada as if talking to Donald Trump saying, “Pareng Donald, mag conceive ka na!”

As of now, it is said that the win of the newly elected President Joe Biden will have a huge impact on boosting democracies around the world which includes our country.
According to CNN Philippines, analyst Dindo Manhit said that due to the different governance style of the incoming leader, a Biden administration will be of benefit to the Philippines.
“As a Filipino, I see value on the presidency of President-elect Biden simply because his personality and leadership style is someone that will build consensus, will work with coalitions, and collaborate with other like-minded countries,”
Jim Paredes is the lead singer of the well-known singing group APO Hiking Society. Last year, he was involved in a scandal when a private video was leaked. He initially said the video was fake before finally admitting it was real.
“The video was real. It was private, and not meant for public consumption. I do not know how it became public.
“I can only surmise that in this ugly season of toxic politics, muckrakers determined to neutralize my influence by violating my privacy and digging up dirt on me are at work.”
