In an interview with PEP.ph, Alden Richards was asked why he was still single. The actor admitted that he hasn’t found the right one yet.
“Wala pa yung hinanahap ko eh. I mean I’m not very public with my personal life especially pagdating po sa love life syempre may sinubukan tayo in the past kaya lang hindi nag wo-work.”
The actor then was jokingly asked if he was turned down and was just shy to admit it.
“Hindi sa nabasted yun. Kuya naman, hindi tayo nabasted parang ano lang marami lang tayo sigurong kailangan i-consider when we’re going into a relationship,” he answered good naturedly.
Alden then said that when it comes to his love life, he wants to take it very seriously and not just do it for the sake of fun, “Kase ayoko pong nilalaro ang love aspect. Kumbaga ang iba they want to go into a relationship for fun then for me it’s not. I’m serious.”
When Alden was asked if some of the past rumors about his love life were true, he admitted some details were close to the truth.
“Opo meron pong iba, yung iba medyo totoo.”
Last October, the actor said he would make his love life a top priority after the pandemic.
“Siyempre, mas masarap pa rin iyong meron, Siyempre, mas masarap pa rin iyong every day, may nangangamusta sa iyo, may nag-aalaga sa iyo.”
“Sa ngayon, since limitado ang contact, hindi naman talaga natin puwedeng i-risk iyon just because we wanted to have it. So far, na-e-enjoy ko naman ang buhay ko ngayon.”
The latest rumored dating of the actor was with an actress whom he really liked but according to Alden, “Hindi po umabot sa naging kami,” he said in the late-night talk show of Boy Abunda in July 2019.
