Senator Bong Revilla has finally answered accusations that he is involved in Janine Gutierrez’s unrenewed contract with GMA Network.
In an interview with Abante Tonite, the media company was able to ask and confirm from Senator Revilla if he has something to do with Janine’s non-renewal contract with the Kapuso network.
The senator straightforwardly denied the accusation and even admitted that he’s looking forward to having a project with the actress.
“Bakit (ako)? Ako pa? Walang masamang tinapay sa akin. In short, wala sa akin ‘yun kahit ano pa ang nangyari in the past, wala ‘yun. Wala akong kinalaman do’n.
“In fact, kung ako nga, kung sasabihing gagawa kami ng movie together, I’m very much willing to accept her as my leading lady. Pero kung hindi man, okay lang din.”
But the actor reminded that young and new stars should give respect to seniors and apply it not just in the industry but to everyday lives.
It can be remembered that Janine Gutierrez commented a negative “oh God” reaction about the return of Sen. Revilla.

This comment became controversial because of course the camp of the actor-politician led by his talent manager, Lolit Solis which she did not like.
But the Senator clarified that he has no resentment toward Gutierrez and the other actors who are bashing him.
“I’m a very forgiving person. Pinatawad ko na ‘yung mga taong. . .siguro, hindi naman nila alam ang puno’t dulo niyan. Kung anuman ‘yung naririnig nila, ‘yun lang ang nakakarating sa kanila.
“But eventually, kund hindi man sila maliwanagan ngayon, time will come na maliliwanagan din sila. And I understand them. Naiintindihan ko kung ano ang hugot nila.”
Meanwhile, Revilla will be back in showbiz. He even stressed that he can’t let go of the showbiz industry that gave him the name and led him to where he is right now.
So as a token of gratitude he still does projects from time-to-time. Recently, he has finished his new action-fantasy series on GMA, Agimat ng Agila and it will soon be aired. He is joined by Sanya Lopez, Sheryl Cruz, Roi Vinzon, Benjie Paras, Michelle Dee, and many more.
