Kris Aquino goes hysterical on social media after speculations of running for the elections

Aquino posted a follow-up statement explaining her previous comment about walking the “yellow brick road.”

Queen of All-Media Kris Aquino couldn’t help but take to social media her dismay over the Netizens who misconstrued her previous Instagram post as a threat to run for the elections.

She previously defended her two sons Joshua and Bimby, from the Netizens who shared accusations about the two boys. People said that Aquino’s elder son, Joshua ‘impregnated a girl’ and Bimby is ‘gay’.

She then posted something on her Instagram should the bullying continue saying, “That yellow brick road is starting to look very inviting now.”

Some Netizens praised her for how she defended her two sons, but others misconstrued her statement as a threat that she will run for the elections next year.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, Aquino posted a follow-up statement explaining that her previous comment about the “yellow brick road” is about the 1939 fantasy musical Wizard of Oz and related it to her plans of moving back to Tarlac.

“Some are now triggered without really studying my words… in the Wizard of Oz, Dorothy traveled the yellow brick road only to realize ‘there is no place like home.

“Have you not questioned why we no longer live in Greenmeadows, Quezon City?

“I shall now answer, straightforward language. I was running away from love because high blood pressure from seven years of emotional stress is awful for my autoimmune conditions. Irrational as it may seem, had I not moved to QC, our paths would never have crossed,” she explained.

Kris Aquino was born in Quezon City, Philippines, to the late couple Benigno Aquino, Jr. (who was, at the time, a senator at the time of Ferdinand Marcos’s regime) and Corazon Cojuangco-Aquino (who later became the 11th President of the Republic of the Philippines through a bloodless People Power revolution). She previously lived in her Greenmeadows home in Quezon City with her sons.

In the latter part of her post, she noted before she runs for politics, she first needs to earn the respect of the people.

“In other words, for me to gain your respect, especially in public service, I must prove to you that I earned it, and that I didn’t feel entitled to it.

“Trust me when I say, I shall study, immerse and I will win your approval because I worked harder than what is demanded.

“2022? Not likely…You deserve a healthy public servant, able to be there for you 24/7. You deserve someone who went back to school to study finance and community development. And my youngest should already be in college so that whatever is thrown his way, he’ll be well-equipped to defend himself,” Aquino said.

Meanwhile, Kris Aquino was previously set up to have a talk show on TV5 called Love Life with Kris, but it was canceled indefinitely.

In her previous Instagram post, she posted a brief explanation saying that the producer of her show chose someone else over her.

“This is a life update post I wish I didn’t have to make, BUT it’s something I’m facing up to in order to truthfully move on.

“My [hope] for TV comeback isn’t happening, the producer chose somebody else he and his sales team felt was more viable. No sugarcoating from me, you’re getting the honest truth,” she said.
