Veteran musician Louie Ocampo shared his thoughts about working with Sarah Gernomino for her upcoming virtual concert produced by Viva Entertainment–-TALA: The Film Concert.
In an exclusive interview with Ocampo, he shared that being a part of the virtual concert is both an honor and a privilege to him.
“Nakakakilabot ‘yung feeling, it’s such a privilege.
“Just like any concert of Sarah, it’s always fun and a privilege to be a part of but this one was a good one and a good challenge for everyone. And it turned out really, really well. Trust me,” he assured.
Ocampo also cited Geronimo’s transformation now that she is a married woman.
“She’s more refined, she’s set on her views, what she wants. Even before she was like that but ngayon iba eh. When she really wants something, [even if] we all disagree with her, sasabihin niya ‘no’,” said Ocampo.
“It’s so nice when she speaks her mind, we get to hear what’s in her soul and in her heart.
“That’s the Sarah now. Calm, very nice and pleasant to listen to.”
Ocampo explained that working with Sarah was a great experience for him saying, “Every moment, time, even minute with Sarah is a wonderful experience.
“When you’re around her parang may aura na napakasarap samahan. To be with her, you get inspired and hopefully, we inspire her as well.
“To be with her, watching her, listening to her sing, ‘yan ‘yung vitamins naming mga musical director.”
In an exclusive interview with LionhearTV, Sarah admitted her doubts about her upcoming concert but is motivated by her loyal supporters.
“Syempre may question ba na ‘Kaya ba?’ ‘Kaya ba talaga?’ and kung kakayanin tatangkilikin ba kase iba na eh. Yes, it’s a film concert iba ang live concert kase ano ba babaunin sa live concert,” Sarah said.
“Prinepara ko muna ‘yung aking isip na kakayanin ko ito bina-back up-an ako ng mga tao na very supportive sa akin na talagang iba ‘yung will nila to mount the show.”
Sarah Geronimo’s virtual concert TALA: The Film Concert will be a one-night-only, exclusive event that will take place on March 27 (Saturday) at 8 p.m. PHT around the world.
