‘First Yaya’ maintains its lead in weekday rating board

On Monday, March 29, First Yaya scored 20.9% to secure the number one spot. For Tuesday, March 30, and Wednesday, March 31–the Kapuso rom-com series registered a rating of 22.5% to [again] settle in the first spot of the weekday leaderboard.

Based on the latest numbers from AGB Nielsen NUTAM survey, the Sanya Lopez-Gabby Concepcion starrer series remains on top of the rating leaderboard as the most-watch weekday program nationwide.

On Monday, March 29, First Yaya scored 20.9% to secure the number one spot. For Tuesday, March 30, and Wednesday, March 31–the Kapuso rom-com series registered a rating of 22.5% to [again] settle in the first spot of the weekday leaderboard.

Aside from simulcast airing on three different channels–GMA Network, GTV, and HOA; First Yaya’s consistent top one ranking is because of its strong pre-programming.

The series comes after Kapuso flagship newscast, 24 Oras which is consistent in the number two rank.

During the said period, the series highlighted Melody’s success in saving the President.

When Melody received information about the assassination plan against President Acosta, she immediately goes on her way to warn the President and persuade him not to go on with his scheduled activities. Although the President didn’t initially believe Melody, she averted the assassination plan after the sniper failed to hit President Glenn.



After securing the President, both had the chance to talk about their respective pasts.
