Rumors on Lovi Poe’s network switch seemed to affect the ratings of her Kapuso drama series, Owe My Love.
Based on the latest numbers from AGB Nielsen NUTAM survey, OML’s rating has significantly decreased compared to its previous rating reached 13%.
From the week of April 26 to April 30, the show’s rating only averaged at 9.9% (as the highest recorded on Tuesday, April 27 at 10.1% and its lowest on Thursday, April 29 at 9.7%.
It came after Lovi Poe’s rumored transfer to ABS-CBN following GMA Network’s non-renewal of her contract.
Rumors about her network transfer circulated since the news broke out about another Kapuso Sunshine Dizon’s move to the Kapamilya network.
Poe and Dizon are two of Kapuso’s prized artists with unrenewed contracts.
Aside from the Network switch issue, another factor that may affect the OML’s ratings is the pre-programming of Heartful Cafe.
Heartful Cafe also suffered a rating slump in the same week.
From its usual rating of at least 14.1%, the show’s rating went down to 13.5% on Thursday, April 29.
Meanwhile, there is no word from Poe; not even her management could release any statement on the possible network switch.
But in her latest statement, Lovi said for the meantime–they chose to keep everything in private. She added, she will pursue whatever opportunities come her way.
