Gerald Anderson frustrates people who only look at the mistakes of celebrities

He said that people don’t have to point out his past mistakes for him as he is already aware of them and is trying to better himself.

Kapamilya star Gerald Anderson admitted that he gets frustrated by people who only look into the mistakes of celebrities.

He said that people don’t have to point out his past mistakes for him as he is already aware of them and is trying to better himself.

In a virtual interview with Toni Gonzaga’s I Feel U for the actor’s latest series Init Sa Magdamag, Anderson explained why fault-finding people frustrate him.

He said that people seemed like they were watching his every move and is waiting for him to commit a mistake.

“Siguro lahat tayo na nasa industriyang ito, laging may mali. Gusto lang makita ng tao kung ano ‘yung perspective nila, kung ano ‘yung tingin nila sa atin,” he said.

“‘Yung ibang supporters na sobrang perfect ‘yung tingin sa atin and then ‘pag nagkamali maraming nakaabang,” he added.

The 32-year-old actor also said that people who watch his every move seem to treat artists like things that do not possess any emotion.

“‘Yung mga bashers, trolls na parang tinatrato tayong [parang] mga produkto. Na hindi tayo tao, wala tayong emotions, wala tayong pinagdadaanan,” said Anderson.

He then explained that he learned so many things from his past experiences saying, “Personally natutunan ko na grabe ‘yung growth ko sa mga failure at sa mga pagkakamali at shortcomings ko kaysa mga success na nakuha ko sa buhay.”

Gerald Anderson is currently in a relationship with Julia Barretto. The couple recently admitted their relationship with the public in March after months of controversy and speculations.

Regarding his relationship with Julia, Anderson mentioned that the actress is his joy, inspiration, and motivation.

“Parang nabibigyan ako ng panibagong motivation,” he said.

The couple’s relationship became controversial as Anderson is being accused of cheating with his previous partner, Bea Alonzo with Julia. The actor was also accused of ‘ghosting’ Bea in July 2019.

Meanwhile, Julia Barretto previously told Anderson that she is willing to leave her showbiz career for a simple and quiet life.
