Matteo Guidicelli made the rounds on social media after he greeted Mommy Divine, Sarah Geronimo’s mother a ‘Happy Mother’s Day.’
Mother’s Day was on Sunday, May 9, 2021.
In Guidicelli’s recent Instagram post, he shared a clip of himself cooking pasta, which he prepared for his mother as well as for mommy Divine.
He said that with a simple gesture of cooking for the people he cares about, he can express his love for them.
“It’s not always easy to find the right way to express our feelings, but sometimes, a simple gesture like preparing a plate of pasta can truly become the best one,” he wrote in the captions.
He then greeted his Mom and Mommy Divine, “Happy Mother’s Day to my Mama Glenna and Mommy Divine.”

Guidicelli and Mommy Divine are known for not being on good terms. The latter doesn’t approve of the actor’s relationship with Sarah.
The rift between the actor and Geronimo’s mom deepened when Sarah married Matteo via a civil wedding that privately took place at Shangri-La at the Fort in Bonifacio Global City late evening of Thursday, February 20, 2020.
Mommy Divine, who seemingly didn’t know about the wedding, unexpectedly showed up at the event and made a commotion.
Meanwhile, it was speculated that Sarah and Mommy Divine have already patched things up after the Popstar Princess promoted on Instagram the farm products that her mother is selling.
Matteo, on the other hand, is still hoping that one day he will have a good relationship with Sarah’s family especially Mommy Divine.
“In God’s time, [we are] positive, things will heal. Things will be better,” he said in a YouTube interview with Toni Gonzaga.
“You know, having drinks together, pasta together. I think that’s our family’s dream. So ‘yun. One day, it will happen.”
