Kapuso TV host, Iya Villania shared her piece of advice to John Lloyd Cruz in a segment Short Message para sa Sikat or SMS regarding the actor’s TV comeback.
Villania mentioned that her friend, Cruz is a top actor everyone is looking for.
“Ginalingan mo kasi masyado, pars, eh. Ayan tuloy. Napagod ka kasi tinodo mo masyado, pars. Ha-hahaha! Hindi, but ano kasi, ‘di ba he is so good, so tuloy, he was wanted and needed. He was in demand.
“Oo, we also want our reset, even if it means going out for a walk or spending a night out with friends. ‘Yan ang aking magiging advice kay Pareng Lloydie,” the TV host said.
After his hiatus from showbiz, award-winning actor and TV personality, Cruz is back on screen as he showed up in the Shopee Mid-Year Sale Event on GMA 7 hosted by Willie Revillame.
The actor’s appearance on the GMA Network made a buzz on social media where possibilities of his comeback will happen in the Network. During the event with Revillame, Cruz got emotional as the host welcomed him with warmth.
In a vlog hosted by Ogie Diaz and Mama Loi, a TV comeback of Cruz was discussed where a project with Revillame on the GMA network was in the works, however, due to alleged actions of the actor after the event–made the possibility land in murky waters.
Ogie Diaz reacted, giving John Lloyd the benefit of the doubt.
Despite the controversy, Mama Loi revealed in the vlog that projects for the actor are still in GMA Network’s consideration.
“Tuloy pa din daw, pero out na si Kuya Willie, ang magpo-produce na daw ay ang GMA. So Direk Bobot, John Lloyd, tapos ang production GMA na.”
Meanwhile, in the segment where Iya was asked to express opinions to her friend, Lloydie, the TV host talked about her advice on ‘burnout’ concerns pertaining to JLC.
“For everyone to not get burnt out in this industry, I think it’s really important that you learn to step back and give your family and yourself time,” Villania shared.
