No Extra Baggage: Heaven Peralejo, open to working with ex-lover Jimuel Pacquiao

When asked about her take on the possibility, the Kapamilya actress said that she has no problems with it. She freely shared her openness to working with her ex-beau.

Heaven Peralejo would not mind working with her ex-boyfriend Jimuel Pacquiao on future projects.

In a media conference for Maalala Mo Kaya (MMK) July episodes, Peralejo stated that she’s already on good terms with the young Pacquiao (son of politician and professional boxer Manny Pacquiao).

As reported on a variety of entertainment shows and news platforms, the two started their relationship in March 2019. However, just a few months later, the news spread that they had separated–something that Peralejo confirmed during her guesting on Magandang Buhay in August 2019.

Sabi po kasi ng mom ko, ‘Don’t ever let anyone make you feel that you are not enough because you are enough.’ And when that happens po, it’s time to let go,” Heaven broke her silence on the issue about her breakup with Jimuel.

In a separate interview with the King of Talk, Boy Abunda, the younger Pacquiao also shared his side of the story. He opened up about their breakup and revealed that it actually happened twice.

It was really tough, the way we ended the first time… We got back [because] it seemed like there was anger the first time and the breakup didn’t work out,” he said.

Soon after, they were able to mend their broken relationship but ultimately decided that they were not meant for each other in August last year.

The second time around, it was a peaceful breakup. We’re good with each other now,” he added.

When asked about her take on the possibility, the Kapamilya actress said that she has no problems with it. She freely shared her openness to working with her ex-beau.

Yes, of course. Hindi naman tayo nagtatanim ng sama ng loob.

And siyempre may pinagsamahan na rin naman kami. We are good now. So, why not?”

Jimuel Pacquiao just signed a contract with Star magic in January of this year. He is now officially a member of the established rising star group The Squad Plus.

Meanwhile, Peralejo shared to the public her lead-role project with ABS-CBN’s Maalala Mo Kaya, titled My Two Mothers, where Iza Calzado and Shamaine Buencamino are her co-stars on the episode directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar

The episode will air on July 24 on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, TFC, iWanTFC, and A2Z Channel 11.
