Pinoy Pop group SB19 expressed their gratitude to all the up-and-coming PPop Boy and Girl Groups looking up to them.
During the press conference for their upcoming Extended Play tracklist Pagsibol, SB19 Pablo highlighted the message of their song and how it relates to future PPop groups.
Be proud of who you are. Iwagayway mo ang sarili mong watawat.”
He then expressed his gratitude to the groups for using their success as inspiration.
‘Yung goal nila, tuparin nila and be who they are. Parang ganon po.”
SB19 Josh then said they want to establish PPop in the country alongside the other boy and girl groups.
SB19’s success is undeniable, especially now that they are venturing into the international music scene. Their music video of ‘What?’ currently has 12 million views on YouTube, and they became the first Pinoy artists to receive the Top Social Artist nomination in the Billboard Music Awards.
One of the reasons behind the group’s success is their fan base, A’TIN. SB19 Justin expressed how proud they are of their fan base.
“One thing po siguro is our A’TIN po. We’re very proud na nanjan sila lagi for us. Lagi kaming sinusuportahan, lagi kaming kasama and hindi kami mahihiyang sabihin na mayroon kaming kasama, mayroon kaming family which is A’TIN.”
As for their global fan base, SB19 Josh said that they feel overwhelmed with the current reach of their group.
“Very overwhelmed po kami. ‘Yung reach namin aabot talaga ng world wide. So nakakagulat po ‘yung mga pangyayari. Kahit kami nabibilisan din.”
SB19 Josh also assures that they will deliver the same connection they have for A’TIN to their global fan base.
As for their EP tracklist, SB19’s Pagsibol includes six of their songs, such as What?, MAPA, Mana, Bazinga, Ikako, and SLMT. The EP is currently available on Spotify via Sony Music. SB19 will be performing songs from Pagsibol on their online live concert, Back In The Zone, on August 1.
