‘The Legal Wives’ almost had an alternative ending!

Dixson was thankful that amid being caught in a lockdown in another country; she was able to catch up and return to the country to finish taping the original ending of the series.

The production team already prepared a different ending to shoot for The Legal Wives series if ever actress Alice Dixson cannot return to the Philippines for her scheduled lock-in taping.

Dixson went to Canada and America earlier this year to fetch her daughter Aura, her first baby that was born through surrogacy.

“I was even in the States when they were doing lock-in number three. I thought na hindi na ko makakahabol sa ending. They had even created a special ending had I not been able to return,” she shared.

Dixson was thankful that amid being caught in a lockdown in another country; she was able to catch up and return to the country to finish taping the original ending of the series.

“I’m very grateful na despite all of the things that were happening around us, all the obstacles, na nakapagtapos din kami ng isang magandang proyekto na maipagmamalaki talaga namin,” she continued.

She believes that the teleserye is a special one and considers it close to her heart.

“I really believe this is one of my favorite teleseryes now because hindi lang about the story ang talagang pag-uusapan eh. Everybody is asking me, ‘Who is the legal wife?’ Hindi n’yo ba alam? It’s three legal wives,” the actress added.

Legal Wives deals with a unique story—a man legally marrying three different women under different reasons and circumstances.

Dixson will play the role of Amirah, the first wife of Ismael, the character the Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo will be portraying.

Andrea Torres, who will breathe into the character of Diane, the second wife of Ismael, and Bianca Umali, who will play the role of Farrah, the third wife of Ismael–will be in the lead cast, too.

Be sure not to miss the world premiere of The Legal Wives on July 26 on GMA Telebabad.
