Derek Ramsay severed his ties with John Estrada, the Kapuso actor declared this in his interview with talent manager and actor Ogie Diaz on August 9.
Ramsay said that he came up with this decision following Ellen Adarna’s complaints against the production of the John en Ellen show.
“Hindi ko siya kaaway. Hindi ko siya kaibigan. He’s no longer a friend of mine. I just don’t want to associate myself with John,” Derek declared.
“Magsisinungaling ako kung walang kinalaman ‘yung nangyari kay Ellen, pero ‘yon ‘yung icing on the cake. ‘Yun ang nag-push sa akin na enough is enough,” he added.
Adarna’s suffering on the show’s set stirred him up and compelled him to cut his ties with a friend.
Although Estrada apologized to him after the incident, Ramsay said he could not go easy on certain things that happened to his fiancée.
“Naramdaman niya ‘yung galit ko. I think na-understand naman ni John kung saan ako nanggaling… Marami nangyari kay Ellen sa show na iyan. But, ibigay ko kay John. He was apologetic sa mga bagay na nangyari. Pero, there were certain things na ‘di ko na puwede tanggapin,” he said.
“For me, you go on with your life, I’ll go on with my life. I wish you well, Bro,” he added.
Derek and John were good friends that they even called each other brothers.
It is known to many that Ramsay and Adarna met through Estrada earlier this year. The first time they met was at a dinner party.
